What's the problem?

Current smart home offerings are characterized by complexity, incompatibility, and a lack of user-centric design.Consumers seek a seamless, intuitive, and secure smart home experience that integrates seamlessly with their existing technology ecosystem. Existing solutions often fall short in providing a comprehensive and unified approach to home automation.

Here's the solution.

SkyHome and HomeOS offer a holistic solution to the challenges of modern smart home living. By combining a user-friendly mobile app with a powerful operating system, Sky aims to deliver a unified, efficient, and secure smart home experience.

SkyHome provides a centralized control hub for all smart home devices, regardless of brand. It offers a clear overview of home status, security controls, and instant alerts, empowering users to manage their home effortlessly.

Design System

Logos

When creating the branding for the Sky at Home products, I wanted to keep it consistent with Sky's existing lineup. In combination with the "Home" word-mark, I created a simple home icon for the logo.

Primary Colors

The two primary colors were chosen for their warm and familiar feeling, fitting into the home perfectly.

Icon System

Fitting into Sky's consistent ideal of simplicity and usability, the icon system I chose for homeOS and SkyHome is clean and highly legible.

Color System

Similar to the primary colors, the rest of the color system features bright and inviting shades. Additionally, homeOS uses transparency throughout it's design, so different gray variations were essential.

Let's wrap it up.

SkyHome and homeOS evolve on the existing smart home products from Sky. They solve the issues of incompatibility, delays, and lack of a user-friendly design. SkyHome and HomeOS bring users an efficient & unified experience.
