What's the story?
Individuals across the globe experience neurodiversity, where their brain's processing, learning, and behavior varies from what is deemed "normal." This can influence how they engage with their applications and smartphones, necessitating inclusivity solutions throughout different interfaces.
What's the problem?
Many apps aren't designed with accessibility needs in mind, especially ones that focus on financial management. This leads customers to feel overwhelmed and to ignore their financial responsibilities.
What’s the goal?
Creating a finance product that allows neurodivergent customers to feel secure and comfortable in dealing with their banking on the go.

Fundamentally, Compass aims to democratize financial management for all Barclays clients.
That’s why we offer industry-leading accessibility options for a broad scope of needs.

Get a quick overview of your financial situation, including your spending, savings, and investments.
Scalable Design
Compass is available wherever you need it. Find it on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store,

Design System
Logos
The Compass logo aims for simplicity, the combination of the name and icon keeps it legible and clear.
Primary Colors
The primary colors for Compass are taken right from Barclay's iconic branding. The overall design of the Compass interface features simple, flat colors.
Icon System
Compass uses Google's Material icon system so imagery feels familiar to a wider range of users.
Color System
The rest of the color system includes various grays and greens, keeping with the simple scheme.
Summary
Compass allows all users to feel confident in their personal finances. It features industry-leading accessibility options, Barclays financial services, and 24/7 support.
